Why is Reduct the best research repository tool?
Ctrl + F for video—pinpoint key moments in a flash
Locate moments within one interview, or across thousands of hours of content within your research repository.
Reduct’s powerful fuzzy search algorithm finds relevant phrases even when the words don’t match exactly.
Austin Wagoner
“There could be something on the tip of your tongue that you know is in the interview and you can't remember exactly what it was. But if you have an idea, you can start working your way to where that might be. And then you can go and you're like, wow, yes, this is exactly what I wanted.”

Edit videos with text—stitch, clip, and skip with ease
Create tags and highlights from different user interviews and seamlessly stitch them into a cohesive montage by a drag and drop.
Reduct helps you skip over tangents, or filler just by deleting the text—making video editing as intuitive as editing a document.
Mira Rao
“The nice thing about Reduct is that you can go back into the transcripts, find those keywords, highlight them, create clips and then stitch those clips together so quickly.”

Transcribe live interviews—focus on conversation, not on taking notes
Reduct’s transcriber bot automatically joins your scheduled interviews and transcribes your them in real-time, allowing you to stay focused on the conversation.
Once the meeting ends, you receive the full transcript along with the recording, making it easy to highlight, tag and and quickly share insightful clips to the stakeholders.
Sarah
“Before Reduct, I would take meticulous notes and I would listen for very specific words but not really be able to pay that much attention to the interview itself because I was trying so hard to take notes. Now, we don't have to do that. It's all automated and it's really about the participant and their experience.”

Reduct.Video excels in research interview editing capabilities, offering features such as text-based video editing, search, highlighting, tagging, and topical reel creation. These features enable user researchers to easily compile and share insights from user interviews, with a user experience that's much smoother and intuitive compared to Condens.
Reduct.Video offers competitive pricing with plans starting at $150 per month for a team of 3 members. If you want SOC2, SSO, and other enterprise features, our enterprise pricing is $75/editor per month and cheaper than Condens.
On Reduct, multiple researchers can highlight, tag, and cluster insights in an infinite 2D canvas in real-time. We also offer granular role-based access control at project-level and org-level, and single sign-on (SSO) for large enterprise accounts.
If you have a lot of video on Condens and need some suggestions, a solutions engineer can jump on a call with you and guide you to export your data out of Condens (they make it very hard to do it!). Reduct.Video can import from your hardrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, and Zoom Cloud Storage, but we don't have a way to directly import recordings from Condens, and we don't support PDFs.
Optionally, we offer LLM-based features (such as summarization, suggested highlights / tags, and "Ask"), powered by OpenAI. This usage is protected by a data processing agreement between Reduct and OpenAI in which OpenAI promises that they will not train any models on your data, nor retain it more than 30 days.
