How to Summarize Interrogation Videos?

You get handed these massive interrogation files. Most of it is just your client sitting alone, waiting, dozing off. Nothing happens. But buried somewhere in the footage are a few moments that matter: a statement, a right violation, key moments you can build a defense around.
Previously, finding them meant sitting through endless interrogation videos.
Now, Reduct’s summarization helps you navigate through the silences and surface those key moments faster, giving you a clear entry point for deeper review.
Get to the key parts of interrogation quickly
Step 1. Upload the interrogation videos and get their transcripts

Drag and drop your interrogation videos into the left-hand side panel in Reduct.
Transcripts will be ready in around 15 minutes. These transcripts are timestamped and got toctive, so you can click on any part to jump directly to that moment in the recording.
Step 2. Get a custom AI summary of the interrogation
You can now use the interrogation transcript to generate a custom AI summary.
Go to Interact > Custom.

A pop-up box will appear. Type in the questions you want the summary to answer in the box. Make sure Save custom summary to project is checked so you can reuse it for other calls.
Then click on Generate a summary.

This will give you summaries structured around the questions that matter most to your case, with each point timestamped so you can verify details.
Reduct also provides pre-made general template questions for interrogation videos that you can customize and get a custom summary. To access the templates, go to Interact > Templates > Select a template > Interrogation > General template.
