Prabhas Pokharel Co-founder, Reduct.Video
Public defenders are facing a flood of video and audio discovery — from bodycams, to surveillance, jail calls, and all kinds of recordings. We’ve built AI-powered tools that help you manage it all: transcribe, search, summarize, compare angles, ask free-form questions, and create video exhibits.
When a public defender recently saw some of these tools, he remarked, “I hope the DAs don’t have this.” It got us thinking — what if public defenders actually had better technology?
In this Spark, we’ll show you how we’re working to make that vision real, including a preview of powerful new tools in development. We’ll also launch a new program offering pro bono AI support for high-impact cases where new technology could make the difference.
Criminal Law Innovation Program (CLIP)
Rising volumes of audio/video evidence has left public defenders overwhelmed and overworked.
Reduct wants to help criminal law practitioners (especially public defenders) utilize the best technology so they can keep up with the DAs.
As part of a new pro bono support program for our public defenders, Reduct.Video will be providing technology assistance to 3-5 cases/yr.

REDUCT FEATURES
A glimpse of the upcoming features you’ll get access to before anyone else

Ask us about AI in public defense
Reduct.Video helps public defenders and criminal defense teams make sense of hours of audio/video evidence — bodycam, interrogation, surveillance — by transcribing all of the content, and allowing them to search, translate, redact, clip, and create video exhibits. Our platform helps defenders turn raw video into usable evidence, and ultimately defend their clients better. We’re on a mission to bring modern technology to public defenders.
Transcription you can rely on case after case
Get accurate AI transcription in just minutes, with over 94% accuracy. Transcripts make your footage as easy to work with as text.
Search the transcript, review the video
Search through your entire repository of evidence — potentially hundreds of hours of footage. Reduct’s powerful fuzzy search algorithm finds relevant phrases even when the words don’t match exactly.
Analyze incidents with synced Multicam view
Reduct’s Multicam sync allows you to review footage from different angles simultaneously, providing a complete perspective on incidents. You can find the most suitable angle of an evidence to present in court.
